Nottingham City Council Established a Business Case
for Community Facilities in Bestwood.

This work included:

Assessing
the current occupancy, and usage patterns of the centres.
- Establishing
the running costs budgets of these centres, and where there was any possibility
of savings. Carrying out calculations
such as cost of each space provided to provide comparisons across the centres
- Taking into consideration user
groups of the centres making recommendations as to the future of the centres,
looking at whether a reduced number of centres could provide the same service.
- Centres worked with were mixed
between council ownership and community managed centres.
